She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Summey and Margaret Jenkins Summey; her husband James Harvey Sawyer; and her son Ricky Sawyer. She is survived by: her sons, James Earl Sawyer (Anna) of Randleman, NC, Gary Sawyer (Robin) of Canton and Robert Sawyer (Susan) of Clyde.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
