He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Loly Freeman, Sr. and Ava Mae Saunders Freeman; and his sister Jimmie Mann. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Brown Freeman; his children, Karen Bowman (Pat) of Canton and Joseph Michael Freeman of Truckee, California; and his grandchild Hunter Bowman.
