It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe L. Wells of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe L. Wells to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Milliard "Bill" Wells and Florence Hargrove Wells; his wife Billie Pressley Wells; and his siblings, Anna Wells Brown and Walter Wells.
He is survived by: his son Doug Wells of Canton; his grandsons, Evan Wells of Waynesville and Elliott Wells of Waynesville; and his siblings, William Burton Wells (Pat) of Clemson, SC and Mary Wells Hipps of Fletcher. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
