She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Howell Blalock and Audrey Sluder Blalock. She is survived by: her husband Donald Zade Rice; her sons, Donald Rice (Terry) of Candler and David Rice (Tessa) of Canton; her grandsons, Beauford Rice (Jennifer) and Kaleb Rice (Brittney); and her great grandchildren, Zade and Hunter Rice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to High Street Baptist Church (WMU), 73 High Street, Canton, NC 28716.
