She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Thomason and Rachel Stamey Thomason. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hatherlee (Robert), Tim Jones (Debbie) and Randy Jones; her brother Jerry Thomason (Cathey); her husband Paul W. Jones; her son William "Terry" Jones; her brothers, Richard, Lewis, Roger and James Thomason; and her daughter-in-law Colleen Jones. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Canton (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sunny Point Baptist Church Cemetery (132 Sunny Point Dr, Canton, NC 28716). A burial was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
