He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marcus and Joy Webb Wilson; and his sister Phyllis Wilson Hipps. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Stuart Wilson; his children, Christy Greene (Bryan) of Clyde and Brent Wilson (Emmylou) of Canton; and his grandchildren, Tillman Greene, Parker and Hayden Wilson.
