He is survived by: his children, Deborah Allen of Candler and Mitchell C. Allen (Nancy) of Canton; his sister Virginia D. Jackson of Cleveland, Georgia; his grandsons, Michael Jason Smathers and Jess Allen Millsaps; and his great grandchild Mackenna Smathers.
