He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Phillips and Ota Sutton Phillips; and his siblings, Nora Ball, Lorena Smathers, Burton, Beecher and Elmer Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Conard Phillips of Waynesville; his sons, Ronnie Phillips (Brenda) and Doug Phillips (Peggy); his grandsons, Josh and Justin (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Austin and Jonas; his granddaughters, Shelly Teague (Joshlyn) and Shanna Hart; his great grandchildren, Maddie Teague, MaKenzie Hart and Hayden; and his siblings, Colene Rogers, Corena Henline, Ernest, Zeb (Mary), Kelly and Mitchell (Suzi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; friends, neighbors.
