He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Arthur Coward and Moody Parker Coward; his wife Dorothy Eileen Ledford Coward; and his children, Cheryl Ann, William Herbert and Herk.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Coward (Jerry Parks) and Debbie Frady (Jim); his grandchildren, Kevin Lee, Candace, Melissa, Jamie and Jessie; and his friend Tonya "Sonya" Willis.
