Helen Eva Pope Foster Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2021, at the age of 96, Helen Eva Pope Foster (Canton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Wesley and Floy Clontz Pope; her husband James Reeves "Jim" Green; her former husband Horace Foster; her close friend G. C. Watts; her sons, Garry and Billy Joe Green; her grandson Steven Green; her daughter-in-law Ruby Green; and her siblings, Glenn, Earl, Charles, Robert Pope and Hilda "Sissy" Pope.
She is survived by: her siblings, Frank Pope (Carolyn) of Candler and Nancy Pressley (Wade) of Canton; her daughters-in-law, Julia Green and Wanda Green; her stepdaughter Janet Jenkins (David); her grandchildren, Mary Helen Welch (Boone), Melody Dill (Charles) and Duane Green; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Pope of Canton and Helen Pope of Hephzibah, GA. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
Due to Covid-19, masks are requested and social distancing will be observed.
