He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Stamey, Sr. and Anna Dee Leatherwood Stamey; his wife Jacqueline Bailey Stamey; and his brothers, Jim and Dick Stamey.
He is survived by: his son Greg Stamey (Donna) of Canton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several niece and nephews.
