He was predeceased by: his parents, Gudger Larkin Cagle, Sr. and Arlene Caldwell Cagle; his sons, Stephen, Stanley and Stuart Cagle; and his granddaughter Emily Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Trull Cagle; his daughter Shannon Stokely (Fred) of Canton; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Lily, Olivia Payne and Abigail Stokely.
