He is survived by: his parents, Richard Allen and Linda Marie Brown Sims; his wife Amanda Mathis Sims; his sons, Mason, Owen and Maddox Sims; his siblings, Brandy Nigh (John) of Canton, Brian Sims (Wendy) of Canton and Eddie Sims (Tessa) of Clarksville, Tennessee; his parents-in-law, Clinton and Paula Mathis of Waynesville; and his sister-in-law Lori Mathis of Waynesville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
