It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Conard Cook of Canton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Conard and Ruby Conard; her daughter Melita Cook Sorrells; her granddaughter Tamsen Powers Burleson; and her siblings, Bob Conard, Charles Conard, Larry Conard, Jim Conard and Jeannie Stephenson.
She is survived by: her husband Guy L. Cook; her children, Vicki Cook Powers (Tom), Guy Dean Cook (Karen) and Sherri Cook Burch; her grandchildren, Caleb Burch, Tori Powers Hughes and Tessa Powers Hull; and her brother Howard Conard. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Cook's memory to Haywood County Hospice, 43 Bowman Drive, Waynesville, NC 28785.
