He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hobert and Rette Hutchison Whitted; his wife Marjorie Tipton Whitted; and his daughter Martha Laughlin. He is survived by: his cousin Alvin Hutchison of Arden; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Lori, Patrick and Christopher. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
