George Edward Sisk Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Edward Sisk of Canton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Edward Sisk to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Price Sisk and Mary Jo Davis Sisk; and his sister Ida Earlynn Sisk Swanger. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Sisk; his stepchildren, Rhonda Hooper (Glen) and Keith Jenkins (Debbie); his siblings, Penny Sisk Singleton (Jerry) and Sammy Sisk; his stepgrandchildren, Aaron Jenkins (Emily), Casey Kirkman (Aaron) and Cody Hooper; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Anna Jenkins, Daniel Kirkman, Leila Kirkman and Reagan Hall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Canton (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Sisk to Rocky Face Baptist Church, 1635 Worley Cove Road, Canton, NC 28716.
