She was predeceased by: her daughter Vicky Petula Black (Ward Green); and her parents, Claude Gates and Selma Gates (Banks). She is survived by: her daughter Regenia; her son-in-law Harvey Ford of Hartford, TN.; her son Nickey Black of Canton, NC; her daughter-in-law Tammy; her stepdaughter Yvonne; her grandchildren, Hannah Black (Satchel Taylor) of Candler, NC. and Nicholas Black (Hannah Dewesse) of Candler, NC.; her great grandchildren, Gannon Franklin and Rhett Black of Candler, NC.; and her sisters, Rachel Jane Woodward (Terry) of Rock Hill, SC and Judith Mayes Hartford (Steve). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
