She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Smith and Laura Haney Smith; her husband Harold Childers; and her siblings, Wilma Cogburn, Ora Lee Marriott, Willena Rector, Evelyn Fisher, Willard, Frank, John and Robert Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Childers Wooten (Garry) of Canton; and her granddaughter Heather Wooten Vogelbacker (Scott) of Fort Mill.
