He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephram Clingman Beck and Mary Lee Beck; his wife Eunice Jones Beck; his siblings, E. C. "Junior" Beck, Maybur Beck, R. A. Mehaffey, Joyce Clark, Anna Lou James and Georgie Gillett; and his son-in-law Neil Bumgardner.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Beck (Tammie) of Bethel, Linda Bingham (Wiley) of Mills River and Melissa Morgan of Maggie Valley; his grandchildren, Candace Morgan, Ryan Bumgardner and Rev. Keith Beck (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Bryce Amos, Gavin, Wyatt Bumgardner, Raychel and Makenna Beck.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made in Mr. Beck's memory to Crestview Baptist Church, 3258 Pisgah Drive, Canton, NC 28716.
