She was predeceased by: her parents, H. D. Leatherwood and Willie Medford Leatherwood; her husband Bill Morris; and her siblings, Jerry Leatherwood and Betty Haynes.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Shipman, Janice Plemmons of Canton and James "Jimmy" Morris (Lisa) of Bethel; her grandchildren, Kristen Rhinehart, Veronica Puls, Andy Plemmons, Leah Stephenson, Savannah Pope, Luke Worley, Daniel Worley and Levi Morris; and her great grandchildren, Dakota Scott, Skyler McMillion, Bethany Barton and Nicholas Barton.
