He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harrison and Novella Reed Davis; and his son Bobby Sherrill Davis. He is survived by: his wife Doris Pressley Davis; his daughter Melinda Schnell of Hendersonville; his granddaughters, Recia, Rachelle, Leah and Arlinda; and his great grandchildren, Hayley, Charlotte and Jason. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
