He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Cole and Lucille Sharpe Cole. He is survived by: his wife Marilene Plemmons Cole of Canton; his daughter Bronwyen Cole McCracken (Nick); his grandchildren, Brenna and John Cole McCracken of Kingsport, TN.; his sister Pamela Cole Burris of Greensboro; his nephew Bradley Cole Burris of Burlington; and his niece Leanna Burris King of Holly Springs, NC..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Canton (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:45 PM at the Morning Star Community Cemetery (2535 Dutch Cove Rd, Canton, NC 28716).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the Morning Star Community Cemetery Fund.
