He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ralph Frady and Hela Virginia Holland Frady; and his brother James Howard Frady. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stevenson Frady of Canton; his sons, Aaron Frady (Myrna), Tommy Smathers and Chris of Berryville, Virginia; and his grandsons, Corey Frady and Jenni (Georgia) of Acworth.

A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Western North Carolina Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
