She was predeceased by: her parents, Conley Gosnell and Pearl Johnston Gosnell; her husband Joe Stroupe; and her brothers, Bobby and Charles Gosnell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jessica Stroupe of Kannapolis and Misty Santiago (Dave) of Kannapolis; and her brother Eddie Gosnell (Peggy) of Asheville.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Canton (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Ridgeway Baptist Church (525 Old U. S. 19-23, Candler, NC 28715).
