He was predeceased by : his parents, Newman William Jaynes and Inez Ada Jaynes (Eckenrod); his first wife and mother to his daughters, Sarah Stuart Holcombe Jaynes; his brother Billy Joe Jaynes; his stepson Jason Stewart; and his grandson Michael Huffman.
He is survived by : his wife Sharon Cragg Jaynes; his daughters, Allison Thrash (Dale), Ashley Sass (Dennis), Angie Leisey (Jerry) and April Huffman (Roger); his stepson Christopher Stewart; and his grandchildren, Christina Creech, Natalie Lowery, Jennifer Carr, David Thrash, Stuart Thrash, Kyle Huffman, Amy Dover, Josh Stewart, Noah Huffman, Anthony Leisey and Kayleigh Stewart. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
