He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willard Griffith and Myrtle Huskins Griffith; his daughter Maggie Griffith; his brother Bob Griffith; and his brothers-in-law, Fuzz and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Caldwell Griffith; his daughters, Jenny Louise Moody of Asheville and Sarah Griffith (Dana) of Bethel; his stepchildren, Tyler Ledbetter (Heather) of Waynesville and Kali Ledbetter (Cody) of Canton; his grandchildren, Luke Griffith, Dani Moody, Haley Moody, Rylan Clark and Londyn Alexander; his siblings, Billie, Peggy, Pat, Wayne (Jane) and Gary (Sheila); his sister-in-law Pat Griffith; his nephew Rex; and the mothers of child, Sarah and Janet Ross. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
