She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Vernon and Maude Kell Burress; and her husband Olie Joe "OJ" Skidmore, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Cyndy Brown (Darryl) and Laura Barton (Kyle); her brother Edward Dee "Buster" Burress (Betty); her grandsons, Joshua Isaac "Josh" (Renee Ramsey), Zachary Colton "Zac", Kade Alexander Brown, Seth Daniel and Samuel David Barton; and her great grandchildren, Ericka Fierce Lee Reed "Brown" and Allyson Marie Ramsey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Due to Covid-19, a memorial service celebrating Cynthia's life will be held later this year.
