He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Rathbone and Mildred Harvey Rathbone Zimmerman; his former wife Glenda Zimmerman Rathbone; and his brother Kenneth Rathbone. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stanfield Rathbone of Canton; his daughter Krystal Hullender (Darin) of Canton; his stepsons, Christopher Berry of Franklin and Craig Berry of Franklin; his grandchildren, Hillary Larson (Trevor) of Fayetteville, Heidi Wheeler (Shane) of Fayetteville, Joshua Hullender of Canton, Kane Parker of Canton and Kasey Hullender of Canton; his sister Linda Fish (Lloyd "J. R."); and his sisters-in-law, Betty and Barbara. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to someone in need or perform a random act of kindness.
