He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Blaylock and Mary Ellen Revis Blaylock; his wife Barbara Rickman Blaylock; and his siblings, Shea Blaylock, Vernie Smith, Carrie Cook, Bessie Fish and Pearl Heatherly.

He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Blaylock (Danny Owen) and Lou Ann Blaylock Wyatt (Jimmy Wyatt); his grandchildren, Cole Smathers (Mark Hunnicutt), Molly Carver (Chad Carver), Kyle Wyatt (Megan) and Kale Wyatt (Sydney Kapsalis); and his great grandchildren, Dominic Carver, Lola Carver, Gatlin Carver, Savannah Wyatt and Brady Wyatt.
