He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Martin Jones and Mackalean Kuykendall Jones; his brothers, Chester Kuykendall, Donald Jones and Martin Jones; his wife Gayla Stuart Jones; and also, Norman and Ethel Stuart.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Cook (Gary), Michelle Jones and Kelly Barlow; his stepchildren, Wendy Stubblefield (Phil Jr.), Carl Garrett (Lana) and Nathan Garrett (Nancy); his grandchildren, Ashley, Kelsey Cook, Brandon, Josh Hollar, Nolan, Peyton Garrett, Alex Brown, Caroline, Ellen, Phillip III, Henry Stubblefield, Eli, Evan, Zoe, Seth and Cade Garrett; his friend Woody Sanford; and his caregiver Bill.
