He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther Henson and Emma Justice Henson; his siblings, Lucille Conard, Elizabeth Mintz, David and Edward Henson; and his sister-in-law Jean Ann Henson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Conard Henson; his children, Jennifer Henson and Christopher Henson (Erin); his siblings, Stella Corbin, Dot Mercer, Joann Maddox, Barbara McFalls (Steve), Brenda Chavez (Tony), J. L. "Junior" Henson (Lynda), Jerry Henson and R. L. Henson; and his grandchildren, Hunter Grigg, Heather Grigg and Cora Henson.
