Betty Jo Long Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jo Long of Canton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Clyde and Jessie Mae Pless Gorrell; her husband Henson Long; her great grandchild Alice Quinn Rayburn; and her sister Birdell Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Lou Ann Allen (Brian), Mitzi Warren (Daniel), Armon Long (Hilda), Danny Long (Darlene) and Tommy Long (April); and her siblings, Shirley Leatherwood of Canton and JC Gorrell of Rogersville, Alabama.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
