She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Moore and Ina Ledford Moore; and her husband Clayton Payne. She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth Messer (Lowell) of Gastonia, Patsy Weaver of Waynesville, Ethel Moore of Clyde, Arlene Price of Waynesville, George Moore of Winston-Salem, David Moore of Clyde, Andrew Moore of Weaverville, Charles Moore of Clyde and Kenneth Moore of Mill Springs.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Canton (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home (3715 Asheville Hwy, Canton, NC 28716). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (39 Robinson Rd, Clyde, NC 28721).
