She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Buchanan and Irene Gribble Buchanan; her son Michael Ray Israel; and her siblings, Ruth Buchanan Hall (James) and David Buchanan.
She is survived by: her husband Fred King of Candler; her daughter Staci Israel Kohn (Randy) of Summerfield, NC; her grandchildren, Nathan Kohn and Erin Kohn; and her sister-in-law Inajean Buchanan of Darrington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
