He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Andrew Lee and Doshie Lillian Hawkins Lee; and his siblings, Richard Lee and Linda Hartless. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Elaine Phillips Lee; his children, Debra Allen of Canton, Karen Campbell (Roy) of Canton, Sharon Wright of Canton and Darris Lee (Hope) of Georgia; his siblings, Hubert Lee of Canton and Lillian Lackey of Statesville; and his grandchildren, Heather (Jason), Wendy (Josh), Patricia, Alaina (Bobbie), Jessica (Kyle), Jesse, Justin and Luke. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations be made in Mr. Lee's memory to the American Legion Varner- Rhinehart Post #61, 24 Short Street, Canton, NC 28716.
