She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughey Lee Baughman and Eula Wells Baughman; her children, Jeremy Dees and Jacqueline "Jackie" Dees; and her brother Thomas Baughman.
She is survived by: her husband James K. Dees; her children, Eva Leigh McAlister (Jeremy Hannah) of Canton, Christopher Redden and Samuel Dees of Gray Court, SC; her granddaughters, Harleigh McAlister (Dillon Southers) of Canton, Kayleigh (Megan Kassel) of Asheville and Angel McAlister of Canton; her great grandchildren, Hudson, Danner and Hank Southers; and her sister Catherine Meece (Crystal Renee Dees) of Hickory Tavern, SC.
