She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil "Bob" Dills and Cora S. Keener Dills; and her brothers, Leon and Windel Dills. She is survived by: her husband Jack Putnam of Waynesville; her children, Marsha Putnam of Waynesville, Sherry Messer of Canton, Laura Moore (Randy) and Kim Best (Tootie); her grandchildren, Robert Putnam, Joshua Moore, Jacob Best, Desiree and Braxton Best; and her siblings, Floyd Dills, Roena of Hendersonville, Theda Kapplinger, Dirk and Jessie Wilson of Sylva. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
