She was predeceased by: her son Marshall Thompson, Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, Archie W. Field and Jennie Paul Field Harrell; her husband John Marshall Thompson, Sr.; and her siblings, Pete Harrell of Rockingham, Mary Harrell of Waxhaw and Faith Harrell of Dunmore.
