He is survived by: his parents, David Eugene and Gwenlynn Ritter Lamonds of Candor; his wife Sandy Newsome Lamonds; his son Brent Lamonds (Stacy); his brother Rex Lamonds of Candor; and his stepchildren, Robin Liles Maness of Biscoe, Phillip Shane McIntyre of Biscoe and Aaron Samuel McIntyre of Biscoe. He is also survived by previous marriage and their three children.
