She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Chappell and Rosa Chappell; and her great great grandchild Ryder Lee DeVogt. She is survived by: her son Robert Lee DeVogt, Jr. (Rindia) of Candor; her grandchildren, Robbie DeVogt (Brandi) of Troy and Angela Martin (Robbie) of Candor; her great grandchildren, Hunter DeVogt of Pinebluff, Hailey DeVogt of Mt. Gilead, Hannah DeVogt of Troy and Greyson Martin of Candor; and her great great grandchildren, Hazel and Hayden DeVogt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sardis United Methodist Church (1478 NC-731, Candor, NC 27229). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
