He is survived by: his parents, Alberto Martinez and Zenaida Tolentino; his wife Leonidas Hernandez; his daughters, Marcelina Martinez of Candor and Araceli Tolentino of Candor; and his siblings, Benjamin Martinez of Vera Cruz, Mexico, Ana Martinez of Candor and Paula Martinez of Mexico City, Mexico. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Briggs-Candor Funeral Home (187 Farmers Market Rd, Biscoe, NC 27209). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Star Pentecostal Holiness Church (3885 Pekin Rd, Candor, NC 27229). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Biscoe Cemetery.
