She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton J. Alford and Alice Lassiter Alford; her husband William H Johnson (Bill); her siblings, Edna Wilder, Carlton Alford, Jay Alford and Rupert Alford; and her son-in-law Dr. Edward V. Wilkins.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Wilkins (Judy) of Reidsville, William T Johnson (Gail) of Troy and John H Johnson (Vonda) of Troy; her grandchildren, Siri Johnson (Jim) of Mobile, Ala, Kirsten Wheeler (Bryan) of Raleigh, Julie Clark (Michael) of Troy and Scott Johnson (Amy) of Vass; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Catherine Wheeler, Anna Wheeler, Camille Johnson, James Johnson, Blayne Clark, Alexander Clark, Calvin Wheeler and Makayla Johnson.
