He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Therese Edward and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Glover; his siblings, Maxine Blake, Betty Jean Glisson and Jimmy Harold Glover; his wife Brenda Wilkes Glover; his son Jimmy Glover (Tina) of Candor; his siblings, Curtis Glover of West End, Ronnie Glover of Jackson Springs, Stevie Glover of Jackson Springs, Daryl Glover of Farmer, Barbara Ingram of Ellerbe and Helen Griffin of Jackson Springs; his grandsons, Ian Glover and Adam Glover; and his great grandchild Salen Glover. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times at the residence of his son, Jimmy Glover, 1116 Tabernacle Baptist Church Rd., Candor Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill UMC, c/o Dorothy Thomas, 1212 Mill Rd., Jackson Springs NC 27281.
