He was predeceased by: his parents, Lex Poole and Stella Kelly Poole; and his sisters, Edna Mae Blake and Alvis P. Goforth. He is survived by: his siblings, Clara Ruth Brigman (Jimmy) of Rockingham, Viola Ewing (George) of Rockingham, Vonnie Kaye Helms (Stephan) of Mt. Gilead, Edward Lee Poole (Gathy) of Norwood, Chester Poole of Candor, Harold David Poole of Tabor City, Melvin Bruce Poole (Kaye) of Oakboro, Don Blake and Grady Goforth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
