He was predeceased by: his wife Belle Robinson; and his siblings, Alton Covington, Oswald Covington, Josephine Russell, Ardele Reynolds and Virginia Burroughs.
He is survived by: his children, Lane Covington and Mara Leigh Fiskin (Michael); and his sisters, Shirley Blake and Victoria Ochtyun (John). He is also survived by 2 granddaughters; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sardis Umc Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
