He was predeceased by: his parents, Fuce Henry and Lillian Taylor Hughes; and his wife Rachel Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Lynn Ellison (Danny Watkins) of Asheville, Cindy Sue Hughes (Kyle Murdock) of Charleston and Johnny Wayne Hughes (Joni) of Marion; his siblings, Doris Morgan of Marion, Bobby Hughes (Dottie) of Williston, Johnny Hughes (Carol) of Marion and Ricky Hughes (Ann) of Marion; his grandchildren, Whitney Wyatt (Brad), Casey Hughes (Courtney) and Haley Ellison; and his great grandchildren, Brinley, Harper, Jaxxon and Raelynn.
