He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lewis Burnette and Grace Burnette Davis; and his siblings, Larry Burnette, Barbara Slania and Pete Clontz.
He is survived by: his children, William Todd Burnette of Prosperity and Tracy Adaire Burnette of Candler; his sister Billie Louise McCoy of Candler; and his grandchildren, Jessica Pace of Asheville and John Bryson of Asheville.
