It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicki Capps Cooper of Candler, North Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Sue Stevens Capps. She is survived by: her husband Ken Cooper; her father Gene Thomas Capps of Candler, NC; her brothers, Steve Capps (Adryana) of Atlanta, GA, Dana Capps (Lizeth) of Candler, NC and Phillip Capps (Penny) of Weaverville, NC; her sister-in-law Penny Cooper of Greenville, SC.; and her friends, Marie Moseley of Asheville, NC. and Marian Whiteside of Asheville, NC.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family appreciates the expressions of support received during these difficult days and asks that memorials be made to Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, 200 Buncombe St., Greenville, SC 29601.
