He is survived by: his wife Karen Shepherd Sims; his nieces and nephews, Mickey Vick of Arkansas, Lillian Stump of Idaho, Linda Paulin of Idaho, Kathy Watts of Michigan, Danny Watts of Michigan and Jeff Watts of Missouri; and his cousin Reverend Jim Jones of Brevard.
