She was predeceased by: her parents, Lum Culbert and Lona Rachel Kuykendall Anders; and her husband Bobby Lang West. She is survived by: her children, Brenda McClure (Cecil) of Mars Hill, Karen Thomas (Lee) of Asheville, Ellen Hensley of Candler, Leonard West of Candler and Kenneth West of Candler; and her sisters, Ruth Wilson of Waynesville and Myrtle Nichols of Waynesville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, and five great, great-grandchildren.
